The insight I gained about my team over the last two days, I would have never gained in our organizational environment even across a period of two years!
As I watched them engage as a team, handling different roles, in different capacities, I understood the importance of having an in-depth understanding of your workforce and its contribution to decision making and work delegation. I sincerely believe that upon going back to our respective roles, we will adopt whatever learnings that were taken away from this experience to practical use within the workplace. And if THAT can be achieved, the last two days we spent going through this immersive experience is totally worth it!
I thought is was very effective that the program was tailored to address very real and relevant problems we currently face.
In my experience, I have not worked this closely with my team, definitely not to an extent where I had to depend and collaborate at almost peer level. But it did open my eyes to a lot of touch points that affect teamwork and the different problems work-teams face, which otherwise I would never have been enlightened about. Thank you for making it happen, and for making the experience creative and engaging as you did!!!
